ITOCHU Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for an IT Project Manager (PM)ITOCHU  Building Products is the largest leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America. IBP is comprised of Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, Daiken North America, and US Premier Tube Mills.

 

Position Summary:

 

The IT Project Manager (PM) leads the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects across the enterprise. This role is critical to ensuring strategic alignment between business objectives and IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination skills to deliver high-impact outcomes on time and within budget.

The PM works closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and business units to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, while adhering to the organization’s project management methodologies and standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end management of multiple IT projects, including software development, infrastructure, and enterprise applications
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resource allocation, track milestones, and monitor project performance using project management tools
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle; ensure clear communication and manage expectations
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate as necessary to ensure resolution
  • Ensure all projects adhere to governance, compliance, and PMO standards including documentation, status reporting, and post-project reviews
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies or traditional project meetings depending on the delivery approach (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and sharing best practices across the PMO and IT organization

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
    OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in IT, preferably within mid-to-large scale organizations
  • Proven experience managing software development projects, infrastructure deployments, or enterprise system implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, cloud platforms)
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 certification strongly preferred.

Work Environment: Mix of office environment and warehouse setting (remote candidate is okay, but travel is expected)

Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, climb, stand, lift and/or move.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.  Monday through Friday 8 hours a day; at times outside of normal working hours
