Overview

Itochu Building Products (IBP) Holdings has an immediate need for IT Help Desk. Comprised of Master Halco, Alta Forest Products, Daiken North America, and US Premier Tube Mills; Itochu Building Products is the largest and leading manufacturer and wholesale distributor of fencing products in North America.

 

As the member of the IT Help Desk, you will be the primary support conduit for all of Itochu Building Products companies.  You will be responsible for answering support calls, administering the help desk mailbox and entering the trouble tickets into the Help Desk system and escalating tickets to resolution.  You will also perform basic troubleshooting, maintain service contracts of office equipment and be our first line of support for our users.  This position will be based out of our Dallas, TX headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to users by researching and troubleshooting problems
  • Support customers remotely and in-person by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps
  • Daily administration, distribution and escalation of support tickets through Jira Service Management
  • Microsoft AD/0365 account creation and administration
  • Maintain service contracts of office equipment

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows 10 and/or Windows 11
  • 2+ years administrating Active Directory
  • Experience supporting and using Office 365 applications.

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Able to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle and own critical issues to resolution
  • Ability to create technical documentation and training documents
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with employees at all levels of the organization

Work Environment: Office environment

Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, climb, stand, lift and/or move.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday.
